SALVATION
An illustration for Romeo and Juliet. Because of an interplanetary journey, the battleship driven by Romeo had an accident. From then on, Romeo suddenly had some memories of Juliet's past, and she could feel Juliet's pain and depression. She gradually began to sympathize with Juliet and wanted to save her. However, due to the immaturity of technology, Romeo does go back to the past, but only Juliet can see her, and Juliet is seriously ill at this time. But in fact, Romeo is the future Juliet, and they have some similarities. They love each other. Juliet admires Romeo's bravery and strength, while Romeo likes Juliet's peace and calmness in everything. But they cannot be together, Romeo will eventually return to his own time, and the seriously ill Juliet will also die.

Romeo Design
Because she is Romeo from the future, I used more hard-surface decorative design in the character design. And she is designed to have more personality, so as to highlight that she is a brave and decision-making person. At the same time, she used more cool colors to make her look more masculine.

Juliet Design
In Juliet's design, because she is a noble lady in the Middle Ages, the dress is mainly based on skirts, and her setting is that she is not in good health, so she is relatively thin and does not see the sun all year round. One of the reasons for using pink at the same time is that she eventually died. So pink is also the color of blood.

Sketch
I had the idea of Romeo and Juliet hugging each other, but based on the setting of my story, because they are one person from beginning to end, I used a 50/50 design. They look like self-salvation.

Final
In the final color design, I used a similar feeling of light illumination, and the addition of wings. The first is that they have obtained the freedom of self, and the second is that they have obtained the redemption of self.
